The popular seaside town of Bude, renowned for its surfing waves and vibrant atmosphere, is only a 20 minute drive away.

Closer to home, you can explore the nearby Cookworthy Forest with plenty of walks, cycling tracks and bridleways through the conifers.

Outside there’s a lawn and an enclosed deck/patio that leads to the front door - a lovely spot to sit and chill out at the end of a busy day.

You’ll need a car, there’s plenty of parking at the end of the private drive.

It’s only a three minute drive to Ashwater village, where you’ll find a pub, post office and a village shop.

If you need more choice you’ll probably head to Launceston (around 30 minutes away), Holsworthy (around 20 minutes away) or Okehampton (around half an hour away). Okehampton and Holsworthy both boast a Waitrose store!
